Partnering with Proximiti

Overview

Proximiti is a software developer but also a manager and operator of Internet communications with a focus on voice applications and also a national wireless provider that can offer equipment, SIMs, or M2M applications.   We also can work on top of existing wireless and IP services offered by others with our software including apps for smart mobile devices.

We develop software that links communications services real time with our own management software but also client or partner managed software.   The biggest area for productivity improvements in business and in improving consumer services is to integrate communications with data management.   We can often make this a routine integration, it happens automatically, and this provides great benefits for users and also management.

Today’s communications and IT marketplace is dynamic, exciting, but is also complex with typical channel and partner programs not the only or even the best way to address certain markets.   End users need trusted advisors and often wish to be removed from complexities for setting up and then integrating products into their solutions.   Proximiti builds and operates innovative solutions that often work closely with other solution providers.   Some of these solutions are other technology applications; often, however, the best partners for certain market segments are providing services or products that are not exclusively technology or telecommunications oriented.

Our roster of partners and interest in new partnerships reflects this reality.   And we expect this trend to continue strongly in the years ahead.

Corporate

Phone Systems and VOIP Services including SIP Trunking:   In the small and mid sized business markets, we can provide core telecom services and deploy a full VOIP solution.   We offer broadband through partners but can also work with end users that use other providers and increasingly use cable companies for broadband.   We deliver high voice quality (better than PSTN) that can be almost totally hosted (everything but the phone) or premise based solutions needing IP network resources to move to VOIP.   We actively work with a number of telecom interconnects, agents, and master resellers.   Increasingly, we are working with typical IT value added resellers and their supply organizations.   Consultants are also well represented as Proximiti partners.   Proximiti services can be a stand alone application replacing the traditional telephone service provided or be part of an overall solution for IT.

Company Owned and Individually Owned Cell Phones:   Companies today often are heavier users of wireless services than traditional telephony.   Users are more mobile and callers often contact employees via their cell phone rather than calling the main office number.   The growth of smart phones has expanded this beyond calling to e-mail and other data services and the management of smart devices is now a major area for even the smallest companies.   Billing is complex and often contains surprises, and there is a major opportunity to improve efficiency by seamlessly incorporating mobile devices into business processes.

Our TRAKR series of products addresses these needs from end to end and can make manageable an area that most companies do today only after the fact, if at all.   TRAKR is a set of software that works on almost all smart phones and that can address mobile spending, security, and management of business processes.

Major partnership areas are evolving rapidly here as we now interface natively with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and also with Salesforce.

Other Proximiti partners here include wireless expense management companies, wireless companies, agents, IT VARs (often driven by the interest of interfacing mobile devices into business processes they design and support), and business consultants.   Each situation is unique, company needs vary but with Proximiti’s innovative hosted software, there is the power to deliver exceptional returns on investment.

There are a variety of partnership types and any given partner can be of more than one type.

Integration Partner - Those who assist in integrating Proximiti technology with enterprise software applications by helping to create "plugins".   Typically, this is either the software company or a reseller/consultant with deep technical experience with the products.   Integration Partners are compensated on revenue associated with any installation using the plugin.

Channel Partner – Those who help Proximiti market and sell its services.   Most often, these are companies who are "trusted advisors" to a significant number of companies that can benefit from the use to Proximiti services.   Channel Partners are compensated on revenue associated with customers they introduce to Proximiti.

Implementation Partner – Those who help the end customer install and effectively use Proximiti technology to delivers real business benefits.   In some cases, Implementation Partners are compensated directly by the customer for services performed.   In other cases, Proximiti may compensate the Implementation Partner for the services performed.

Health Care

Telehealth used to mean expensive devices, custom installed, and high up front expenses for centralized support equipment.   For many health care organizations, telehealth meant simply providing sufficient bandwidth to support remote offices with central locations.   Consumer telehealth has expanded in the past five years with hundreds of companies offering point solutions but almost each application operating separately and requiring a dedicated infrastructure and support team.   This combined with uncertain reimbursement models has precluded the effective expansion of telehealth.

Proximiti leverages the advances in consumer technologies and the rapidly dropping prices of smart devices from PCs to smart phones to increasingly specialized devices that can be linked to an intelligent wireless or IP network.   End users can often be supported with the equipment they already own and use every day.   There is no up front cost to develop a program and can be designed even for low volume applications.

In short: if a medical program can be enhanced by frequent and very low cost communication with an end user, Proximiti solutions are unmatched in power and effectiveness.

Proximiti partners in health care span the provider network from major health systems to home health care companies and consultants working with seniors living alone.

Consumer Applications

Proximiti works with many different companies that traditionally don’t offer communications services directly but have an interest in using communications to sponsor safety or financial management.   We also offer innovative web based services around health and personal information that can be used to support other family members or a consumer directly.

The two major consumer segments that find Proximiti consumer services attractive are seniors and those managing health conditions and families with teenage (or younger) users of cell phones.   The Proximiti Health application set focuses extensively on meeting the needs of seniors and those managing health conditions.   CellTRAKR Family Edition provides important family safety features for teen drivers, all drivers for that matter, and help in managing the use of wireless phones.
